Excited to share-The Trending Yojna

The Government of India is laying the groundwork for providing affordable housing to the urban poor with the motive of building 20 million houses by 31 March 2022 under The Trending Yojna-Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojna (DDJAY). It emphasizes “Housing for All”. Having a home has become one of the basic necessities and is the key to mental peace and financial security. Owning a place which you can call ‘HOME’ is another kind of happiness. With inflation, it became quite hard to afford a home. That is why all the projects under this Yojna are affordable ones so that the urban poor can easily own a home for their families. 

The Trending Yojna-Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojna (DDJAY) approved under the Haryana Government’s consolidated licensing policy 2015, aims at eradicating the mushrooming of unauthorized colonies and encouraging availability through a liberal policy framework.

Salient Features of Trending Yojna :

  • Prospective buyers can avail the loan option up to 75% of the total property value
  • All projects under this DDJAY have to be necessarily finished within 7 years from the date of grant of license.
  • All such projects have to be built through eco-friendly technology.
  • The net planned area for such projects is decided from minimum 5 acres to maximum 15 acres respectively.
  • Registration of independent floors is allowed.
  • The space for stilt parking is allowed.
  • All the projects developed under DDJAY are built by private construction companies under the supervision of the state government.
  • After 90 days of application, the CLU will be approved.
  • The first license may be obtained for 5 acres or more and then an additional license for minimum 2 acres can be obtained taking the total area up to 15 acres. 
  • Under the Yojna, only half the plots can be allotted before their development. The remaining half is allowed to be sold/allotted after obtaining the project completion certificate from DTCP.  
  • The developer has to authorize 10% of the licensed area to the government for the development of the community facilities
